For the past few days I have been relaxing at home which has been great. I’ve had time to reflect on how great a year 2009 was for me.  I had so much fun and the year totally flew by.

This week my two aunts, Briege McGinley and Mary Boyle, travelled over from Glasgow on our minibus to support me in the semi fina of Glór Tíre.  They spent quite a lot of their time with their mouths wide open snoring during the journey, but they made it and that’s the main thing.

On Saturday morning I was on talking to Pio McCann on Highland Radio and I was glad I got the opportunity to thank everyone in Donegal and the Northwest and of course my hometown Glasgow for all the support they have shown me since the show started in September.
