It’s been a few weeks since I last wrote about what’s happening in my life. I have been at home spending the majority of my time in bed ill.
As you are probably aware I haven’t had the best start to this year with regards to my health it just seems to be one thing after the other but I’m hoping this is the end of it as I have a lot of work to concentrate on over the next few months.
I’m in Donegal at the minute with my mum and dad. Over the next few days I will be attending a photoshoot and I’m really looking forward to it.
I’m getting some new pictures taken for my new single which will be out very soon! I will be keeping my website and facebook updated with the details so make sure and keep checking for news.
I am thrilled to announce the release of Robert Mizzell’s latest album Redneck Man. He really has done a great job on the album and I’m really happy with our duet ” I Told You So”.
You can have a listen to a clip of the duet on my website at the minute and you can purchase a copy of Robert’s album at any of his up and coming gigs. I have heard they are selling thick and fast so make sure and grab yourself a copy while you can!
On Wednesday, April 7, I will be attending and performing at the Northern Ireland Country Music Awards which are being held in the Tullyglass Hotel – Ballymena.
I’m quite nervous but also excited about this as it is my first time performing at an awards show, but I know there will be a host of great acts joining me on the stage including Ireland’s latest star Nathan Carter so its bound to be a great night. I will be sure to let you know all of the award winners in next week’s column.
Two girls that I know will be performing at the awards show will be the fantastic Benn Sisters. I was listening to the girls on Highland Radio last week with Packie Keeney and they did a fantastic job! Their latest single ‘Good Girl’s Gonna Go Bad’ has gone down a storm since its release and I really wish the girls the very best of luck with it.
As well as my new single which will be out very soon, I am hoping to be back in the studio over the next few months recording my new album.
I’m still in the process of choosing my final songs but as soon I have ill be straight into the studio to get started.
I love being in the studio even though it can be long days and really time comsuming. Its what every artist loves to do as well as touring all over the country, and it really is all worth it in the end when you have the finished product.
I would like to wish you all a very happy Easter whatever it may bring you. I hope the Easter bunny was generous with his eggs this year. I’, off now to get stuck into my Easter egg with a cup of tea! Until next week, be safe and take care.

It’s off to the NI Country Music Awards
